STILL - Peter Carr

I have known Peter Carr since my first week of study at RMIT Industrial Design in March 1982 - almost 30 years and he is "still" the same wonderful Peter.

We catch up regularly and he is "still" manufacturing aircraft components from his factory at his home in Geelong. Peter's manufacturing tests were legendary for me with sintered this, forged that, and explosion formed the other...... I learnt, and still learn, so much from Mr Carr.

Peter is famous for his work on the Victa Air Tourer an amazing RAAF training aircraft and worked at Victa, Ford, International Trucks and lectured at RMIT in Aerospace Engineering and Industrial Design. We worked together recently on a job for Melbourne Museum, he still uses a red biro and recycled A4 paper.
