MELBOURNE 2012 WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

JAMES PAICK has worked for many of today's top entertainment companies for clients such as Naughty Dog, NCsoft, Trion, Sony Computer Entertainment America, Liquid Entertainment, EA, Sucker Punch Studios, and Turbine Studios. His past projects include PREY 2, RIFT, TRON: Evolution, inFAMOUS, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Rise of the Argonauts

RICHARD LYONS is a concept artist with nine years experience in the Tv, Film, and Game industries. He has worked on a wide variety of titles ranging from the Cartoon DogStar through to the soon to be released Steven Spielberg series Terra Nova.

TIM McBURNIE is a freelance concept designer, illustrator and author based in Adelaide Australia. He works primarily in in the French comicbook market as well as animation and video games with a client list including Blizzard Entertainment, Blur studios, and Wizards of the Coast.

KEVIN CHEN’S life drawing workshops are heralded worldwide, he is founder and instructor of the Concept Design Academy, located in Pasadena California is regularly attended by professionals from all around the globe. Kevin has been instructing classes and professional workshops for various schools and studios during the past 12 years. His clients include studios such as Blizzard, Disney Feature Animation, Valve and schools such as Art Center College of Design and Gnomon School of Visual Effects.
