Excellent... see you there!
ReplyDeleteShawn,
ReplyDeleteNo. Perry is English. The exhibition has no direct link to my research on Victorian industrial design. Dario de Dianna taught at RMIT and worked with Mario Bellini and this is one of the reasons I started this collection.
Well done Ian - your are clearly the write type to do this!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Ian, this is very good work. I can't make it personally but I have viewed what you have online. I am glad too see that you are documenting the classsics of industrial design including - most importantly - Australian ones.
You may remember that we had an Olivetti Lettera 22 by Marcello Nizzoli in the ID group while I was there from 79 to 1989 - it may still be in the archives at RMIT somewhere. I do have a Marco Zanusso " La Mela(apple)" radio in my collection which I picked up in Rome in 1975 - it still works.
Best wishes
Livio
Michael,
ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated..... :-)
Livio,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your support. Send a pic of La Mela radio and I will post it on 'I spy ID' tumblr blog.
regards
Ian
